Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo
Upon arrival in Madagascar’s vibrant capital, Antananarivo, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and prepare for the journey ahead. If time permits, you may explore key landmarks such as the Queen’s Palace or the UNESCO-listed Ambohimanga Hill.

Day 2: Flight to Morondava & Transfer to Kirindy Forest
In the morning, you will take a domestic flight to Morondava on Madagascar’s western coast. From there, a scenic drive leads to Kirindy Forest, renowned for its diverse flora and fauna. En route, you will visit the iconic Avenue of the Baobabs, best experienced at sunset when the ancient trees glow in golden hues.
Upon arrival at Akiba Lodge, embark on a guided night walk to observe nocturnal wildlife, including the elusive giant jumping rat, chameleons, and lemurs.

Day 3: Kirindy Forest to Bekopaka

Following the excursion, embark on a journey north to Bekopaka. En route, you will cross the Tsiribihina River on a pontoon ferry, an authentic local experience. A stop for lunch at the well-known MadZebu Restaurant in Belo Sur Tsiribihina offers an opportunity to savor Malagasy cuisine before continuing to Bekopaka.

Days 4-5: Exploring Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park

Days 10-11: Immersion in Anjanaharibe-Sud Special Reserve
