Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo
Upon arrival in Antananarivo, Madagascar's bustling capital, our local team will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. You can spend the evening relaxing or exploring the vibrant neighborhoods of the city. A welcome briefing will be provided to prepare you for the journey ahead.

Day 2: Antananarivo to Andasibe-Mantadia National Park
After breakfast, depart from Antananarivo and enjoy a scenic drive east to Andasibe, a region known for its lush tropical rainforests. Along the journey, you will pass through the picturesque landscapes of the eastern highlands, where you can observe traditional villages, rice paddies, and vibrant local markets. In the evening, participate in a guided night walk through the forest, where you may have the opportunity to spot nocturnal species such as chameleons, tree frogs, and the elusive nocturnal lemurs.

Day 3: Andasibe-Mantadia National Park
Spend the day exploring Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, one of Madagascar's premier wildlife destinations. The park is renowned for its population of indri-indri, the largest lemur species, famous for its haunting calls that echo through the forest. Accompanied by a local guide, you will hike through the dense rainforest, spotting other lemur species, such as the diademed sifaka and bamboo lemur, as well as unique bird species like the blue coua. This is also a wonderful opportunity to observe the area's incredible flora, which includes orchids, pandanus, and rare ferns.

Day 4: Andasibe to Palmarium Reserve
In the morning, depart from Andasibe and head south to the Palmarium Reserve. This unique private reserve, located on the banks of the Pangalanes Canal, is home to various species of lemurs, including the crowned lemur, black-and-white ruffed lemur, and Coquerel's sifaka. In the evening, enjoy a boat trip on the calm waters of the Pangalanes to a small island where you can spot the rare nocturnal lemur known as the aye-aye.

Day 5: Palmarium Reserve to Mahambo
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic boat ride along the Pangalanes Canal. Then, drive north to the vibrant coastal city of Toamasina, where you can explore bustling local markets and immerse yourself in Malagasy culture. From there, continue on to the tranquil beach village of Mahambo, a charming destination ideal for relaxing by the ocean and sampling fresh seafood.

Day 6: Mahambo to Sainte Marie Island
In the morning, take a ferry for a short trip to Sainte Marie Island, a tropical paradise famous for its white sandy beaches and rich marine life. Locally known as Nosy Boraha, Sainte Marie Island is lined with coconut palms and has a history connected to pirates who once lived there.

Days 7-9: Sainte Marie Island
Spend the next three days exploring and relaxing on Sainte Marie Island. There are several optional activities you can enjoy, including:

Snorkeling and diving: Discover vibrant marine life while snorkeling or diving in Sainte Marie's beautiful coral reefs.
Whale watching (seasonal): From July to September, you may have the opportunity to see migrating humpback whales.
Island exploration: Visit the historic pirate cemetery, charming local villages, and the scenic bays along the coastline.
Relaxation: Unwind on the pristine beaches, savor fresh seafood, and experience the slow-paced island life.

Overnight on Sainte Marie Island

Day 10: Sainte Marie Island to Antananarivo
Return to Antananarivo, where you will have free time for last-minute sightseeing or shopping, depending on your flight schedule. You may choose to visit the city’s famous craft markets, the Rova of Antananarivo, or other cultural sites before continuing your journey.
