DAY 1 - TANA:

Your Madagascar Photography Tour commences with your arrival in the capital city, Antananarivo (Tana). Upon arrival, you'll check into your accommodation and have time to settle in. This is an opportunity to prepare your photography gear and get ready for the exciting journey ahead.

 

DAY 2 - TANA to MORONDAVA:

After your initial day in Tana, you'll embark on a flight to Morondava, a coastal town on the western side of Madagascar. Your photographic journey takes you to the world-famous Avenue of the Baobabs. This avenue is an iconic natural wonder and an ideal spot to capture the enchanting sunset as the golden light bathes the massive baobab trees, creating a surreal and breathtaking scene.

 

DAY 3 - MORNING AT BAOBAB AVENUE AND DRIVE TO KIRINDY:

Begin the day with an early start to photograph the sunrise at Baobab Avenue. The warm, golden light creates a magical atmosphere around these ancient giants, providing fantastic photographic opportunities. Afterward, your journey continues with a drive to Kirindy Forest. Kirindy is a unique ecosystem that teems with flora and fauna, including lemurs and chameleons. The forest provides excellent subjects for your lens. In the evening, a night visit to Kirindy Forest allows you to capture the nocturnal creatures that come to life in the darkness.

 

DAY 4 - DRIVE TO BEKOPAKA:

Today's journey takes you on the road to Bekopaka. The scenic drive through Madagascar's varied landscapes will provide you with ample opportunities to document the changing scenery and local life.

 

DAY 5 - VISIT THE GRAND TSINGY DE BEMARAHA:

Dedicate the day to exploring and photographing the Grand Tsingy de Bemaraha. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a geological marvel with its unique limestone formations. The striking landscapes and opportunities to capture the flora and fauna of this area are nothing short of exceptional.

 

DAY 6 - VISIT PETIT TSINGY AND GORGE OF MANAMBOLO RIVER:

DAY 7 - BEKOPAKA to MORONDAVA:

Today, you'll return to Morondava. But before arriving back in town, take advantage of one more stop at Baobab Avenue to capture another magical sunset. The unique silhouette of the baobabs against the setting sun's warm hues is a sight to behold and a perfect photographic opportunity.

 

DAY 8 - FLY BACK TO TANA:

After your exciting adventures, it's time to return to Antananarivo by flight. This bustling city offers many urban photography opportunities, including the historical Upper Town. You can also visit the Photo Museum to gain insight into the photographic history of Madagascar and its people.

 

DAY 9 - TANA to ANDASIBE:

Hit the road again, this time to Andasibe. As you traverse the landscape, take the chance to photograph the beautiful scenery you encounter along the way. In the evening, participate in a night walk at Mitsinjo Local Community Run Park. Here, you may capture images of the elusive mouse lemurs and other night-active animals against the backdrop of the Madagascan rainforest.

 

DAY 10 - VISIT MAROMIZAHA FOREST:

Today, immerse yourself in Maromizaha Forest, a location that provides numerous subjects for your lens, from the lush vegetation to the various wildlife that calls this area home.

 

DAY 11 - VISIT ANDASIBE NATIONAL PARK AND VAKONA LEMURS ISLAND:

The morning takes you to Andasibe National Park, known for its rich biodiversity and lush landscapes.
