Berenty Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo

Upon arrival at the airport in Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar, you will be met by a representative from your tour company who will take you to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the city and its markets.

 

Day 2: Fly to Fort Dauphin and Transfer to Berenty

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Fort Dauphin. Upon arrival, you will be met by a guide who will take you on a scenic drive to Berenty. The drive takes approximately two hours and you will have the chance to see some of the rural countryside of Madagascar.

 

Day 3: Lemur Watching in Berenty

Today, you will spend the day exploring the Berenty Reserve, which is home to several species of lemurs including the famous ring-tailed lemurs. You will have the chance to walk through the reserve's trails and observe the lemurs in their natural habitat. The reserve also has a small museum where you can learn about the flora and fauna of the region.

 

Day 4: Bird Watching in Berenty

Berenty is also a great place for bird watching, and today you will spend the day with a local guide exploring the reserve's birdlife. Some of the birds you might see include the Madagascar kestrel, cuckoo roller, and the red-shouldered vanga.

 

Day 5: Transfer to Fort Dauphin

Day 6: Fly back to Antananarivo
